Worked my tail off

Hi everyone, Today I worked my tail off. First I unloaded 75 bags of mulch all by myself. Those bags weigh more then me. At the end of it all I stood on top to enjoy the view from the top. Now I know what it is like to be a Great Dane. After we went swimming and I continued to teach Tootie to swim.  The pool is 80 now and I love playing in it as long as I can. After me and Tootie tried out our new cushion so soft and a great place for me to work on my tan. We went in the house for dinner and then went back out to to weed some of the flower beds and water the new plants and start putting some of that mulch down. I love this time of the year spring when everything is new all of the flowers start to bloom and the frogs start to sing me to sleep at night. I know we have to get up early to pull weeds and get more mulch down, then Dad needs to take the car in to get the cd player fixed. so it will be another long day, so with that good night all.

past thoughts

Hi everyone, I have been thinking today a lot about Dutchess and I found these pictures of the two of us a few years back. The toy we both had was nicked named porkie. From the time Dutchess was a puppy she would always carry porkie with her and would always let me play with it. Dutchess was the true meaning of unconditional love, the only thing she ever wanted was to make people happy. She often would sleep with with porkie in her front paws as you can see in the picture below. As I see Tootie settle in I see a lot of those same things in her she loves to play and share all the bones and toys. I hope everyone has a great night.

It has been a fun few days. Play play then play some more swimming and playing ball and tug a war with Tootie. After that we took a long nap. Tootie likes using me as a pillow.I think I may have heard that we are going for a walk in the morning. I have to laugh at Tootie and the way she sleeps all twisted up. She has become my best friend and must say she is getting the swimming down pretty quick.This is going to be a great summer with her. Its time for our ice cream so good night everyone.

Sorry Ive missed a few

Hi Every sorry it has been awhile, too much to do and not enough time in the day. We have been outside enjoying the nice weather. We had a great St Patty's day our friend Vick came over for dinner. We had corned beef and cabbage and Irish Stew and it was all so good. I was looking through the pictures from Perry Ga and I came across this one. It the way they plowed land way in the past. This mule was so real I thought it would move at any moment. Every place we go I love to find out a little history. well it nap time so I will write more soon goodnight.



History

and the I was looking through Dads computer today and found this picture. I remember not too long ago he told us about Tonto. He was a wolf mix and very handsome. Dad told me all about how he was found in Cleveland Ohio in a crack house and had been left in there for 30 days with very little food and dad saved him. When he got to dads house all he would do was pace and howl, so dad called him over and layed on the floor and slept there next to him all night. When the morning came Tonto felt safe and they became best friends. Tonto loved to visit sick kids in the hospital and enjoyed camping. When Tonto came to live with Dad he was 10 years old, He passed away 7.5 years later and for a 185 pound dog that was amazing.That just goes to show how love can do amazing things. He was a great dog that I would have loved to have met.

Friends

Hi everyone, Today has been a great day, After we got up we got busy and went outside to get the yard work started. We cleaned the back patio washed all of the chairs down, pulled weeds, mowed the lawn,cleaned the pool decking. Wow was I tired from that. Then my dads went shopping for St Paddy's day dinner, when they got back they had a big surprise for me and took me swimming.After swimming I went in to help with dinner and we played ball. As if that was not enough we went for a long walk after dinner. As we were walking along my mind kept wandering off thinking of Dutchess, She was a great friend of mine and is truly missed every day. Also in the picture was Chelsea, She was the one who raised Dutchess to be the great pup that she was. I am now lucky to have Tootie as  my new best friend. Boy am I tired so I am off to bed. Good night

Well after a restless night worrying about my vet visit and hoping there were no new lumps I was so relived when the Doc said I was all clear again. Tootie thought she was getting away free and clear, but Doc realized it was time to check her skin to see how it has been healing up.She ended up getting more antibiotics for 2 more weeks. Doc also took pictures of her skin so he could help teach people how with a lot of love and a good Dr.  that you can fix the neglect and harm the others caused our Tootie. So after a long day I found my favorite toy and my blanket and took a long nap, now it's time for a snack and some TV. Hope everyone has a great night.   

After Dinner Walk

much to my surprise tonight after dinner dad said it was time to go, But where? What a surprise, we got to go for a walk. The park is so different in the afternoon. The laughter of the kids playing filled the warm spring air. The sun was starting to drift away as we finished our walk. With the change in the time the day seem so much longer. I never realized how hard it was to walk after dinner till tonight, But boy was it worth it. As we were getting in the car I heard the crickets starting to sing me a lullaby and I knew I was done for the day. Sweet dreams everyone   

Sharing

Hi everyone Today we stayed home and played the day away.Dad had a Dr's appointment so we didn't get to go on our walk in the park , instead Tootie and I shared a bone and played with the stuffed bunny. We had to put all of our toys away dads tring to get ready for St Patricks day we have a friend coming over corned beef and cabbage.I think we are going for a walk tomorrow then it bath day, Then on Wednesday we have to go for my next cancer screening I don't think I have any new lumps but Doc will make sure. Well everyone have a great night I get to share some of dads steak and lobster yummy

A Busy few days

Hi everyone it has been a very busy few day. Yesterday we went for a long walk in the park and ran into a few critters in the park. From turtles to turkeys and a ton of people. The weather is getting a lot warmer so we have to get up early to walk. Today we got a very special treat we got to go on a very long ride to see the air field where dad fly. What a blast that was, all of those planes, I started to feel like a young pup and wanted to chase them but I knew it was not safe to. So I went to visit all of my new friends there. Tootie was a little nervous about the planes, but I helped her through it. Boy am I tired so off to bed I go, we are getting up early to walk. Good night

Somthing new

Wow it happened dad went out and got a new car. I knew he has been really stressed over the the old car after the accident. So now we can get back to the walks every other day. The weather has been really nice and I have been laying around working on my tan, with all of the trees blooming I cant seem to stop sneezing. I am sitting on the porch listening to the cricketts sing and it is slowly putting me to sleep so good night everyone.

were back

Well were back from Perry Ga. and boy are we tired. We had to unload the RV it look like it belonged in a episode of hoarders. I mean look at the size of that plane in the picture, it is well over 6 foot tall. That is one of many large scale RC airplane that we got. I am so happy that dad got to get these planes they belonged to a man who passed away and his RC club was selling them to help his wife out . Dad is  great at flying, but I don't think I want to have him fly me around. I did hear them start to plan an up and coming adventure something to due with a mouse if you ask me it sounds a little goofey. Well I am sure  tired so good night all

oh no

Hi everyone We finished up the big RC airplane show today and boy is this motor home  crowded. My dad got some great deals and yes he did get 3 airplanes big enough to fly Tootie and myself around in. Every where we look there is planes. We got to meet a lot of nice people and I still say I am the reason for the good deals. As the day progressed heavy rains moved in and boy did it get cold so Tootie and I cuddled up on the couch to nap. What a great trip it has been and first thing in the morning we are heading back home.I found out makes these adventures so great its the people you share them with. So everyone have a great night

Away we go

Hi everyone today has been a very very very long day we got up really early to go to Perry Ga. for a remote controlled airplane show. It seemed like we were driving for hours. Tootie was getting a little nervous this is only her 2nd time camping and her first time out of the state, so I held her paw and she fell fast asleep. When we both woke up we were about there, looking out the window I was seeing the red dirt, it looks really funny. We arrived at the fairgrounds and found our camping spot by the big clock tower. Dad pulled the motor home in and I was wondering why then it appeared it was a water front site. A pretty lake with geese and ducks playing in the sun drenched water. What a sight, its going to be great to sit and look at the lake,  talk about relaxing. We then went on a very long walk enjoying meeting all the new people along the way. tomorrow we are going to the RC show and dad said he is going to buy an airplane that can fly me and Tootie around, I think he's pulling our leg. but we will know tomorrow goodnight everyone.
